An Important angle of business success is its people. Hence, we need to understand to what degree HR practices are effective in generating employee engagement and employee commitment. We also need to identify the reasons behind failure to involve employees non related work activities such the corporate social responsibility activities. This book briefly tackles how employee engagement relates positively or negatively to their organisational commitment (components: Affective "AC", Normative " NC", Continuous "CC"). It is yet unclear whether or not is there relationship between the two concepts.
