Beschreibung
This book describes a cross-sectional empirical study that was carried out among college students studying English as a foreign language to determine whether or not a learners L1 plays a prominent role in acquiring the English present perfect. The study also attempted to evaluate the effect of 'noticing' the L1/L2 differences as a possible facilitator in the acquisition of this linguistic feature.
