Beschreibung
Deadnettles belong to the genus Lamium which includes several species of flowering plants in the family Lamiaceae. They are all herbaceous plants native to Europe, Asia, and northern Africa. This book discusses the applications of biochemical and molecular markers for assessing the genetic diversity and phylogenetic relationships of Lamium germplasm in order to provide developed technologies for crop improvement. Dr. Mohamed Ahmed El-Esawi is a Visiting Research Fellow at the University of Cambridge in the UK and Associate Professor of Molecular Genetics at Tanta University, Egypt. He received his Ph.D. degree from Technological University Dublin, Ireland. He joined various European universities as a Research Fellow and authored several articles and books.
