This book aims to provide an integrated overview of the subject of poultry reproduction, describing the normal function of the reproductive system together with its modification by nutrition, climate, phenotypic characters, technological and management techniques in relation to the central theme of reproductive efficiency. The book is designed to provide a general background to the field of poultry reproduction and management for University students and a reference source for research scientists and professional workers in the field of poultry reproduction and production. The book will serve as an introductory text to animal science students embarking on a career in reproductive physiology research. Furthermore, we hope that it will be used by working veterinarians and farmers to update themselves on new research findings and developments in the management of poultry reproduction.
Autorenporträt
Dr. Ifeanyichukwu Princewill Ogbuewu is a Senior Research Scientist in the Department of Animal Science and Technology, Federal University of Technology Owerri, Nigeria. He holds a Ph.D degree in Animal Science with specialization in Animal Physiology and Reproduction. He has over 10 years of University Teaching and Research experience.
