Beschreibung
This work details the various forms of retention in maxillofacial prosthodontics and their evolution till the present day. It was felt that an inclusive and comprehensive classification of the means of retention was lacking hence an attempt to present an original classification along with a thorough review and discussion of the classical retentive aids in maxilofacial prosthodontics. The work also incorporates the most modern and advanced means of retention available today for rehabilitation of defects in the head neck and face region.

Dr. Anirudh Koul is a maxillofacial Prosthodontist from India with works published in many national & international journals.Having graduated from the prestigious Nair Hospital in 2008 he went into clinical practice. Currently he practices exclusively in Prosthodontics in New Delhi.
