Yasemin Kulak Özkan completed her graduate education in the Faculty of Dentistry, Marmara University, Turkey in 1987 and then became a research assistant in the Faculty of Dentistrys Department of Prosthodontics in the same year. She was appointed as an Associate Professor in 1996 and became a Professor in 2001. She was a Vice Dean over the period 2004-7 and became a Dean in 2014. She currently works as Dean and Chief of the Prosthodontic Department in the Faculty of Dentistry at Marmara University. She has published more than 60 papers in renowned journals and is an editorial board member of repute.
