There is an aggressive push in dentistry, and in Prosthodontics in particular, toward evidence-based dentistry. Despite its ancient origin, EBP remains a relatively young discipline whose impacts are just beginning to be validated. However, there appears to be a natural progression from experience-based dentistry through dentistry based on evidence and ultimately approaching to evidence-based dentistry in our local settings. Hence it becomes imperative to know how to incorporate evidence basis in our day to day practice, this book provides basic knowledge and guidelines regarding the same.
