Beschreibung
The findings of the review articles will provide a new perspective on how we deal with nutrition for prevention of certain metabolic diseases such as colorectal cancer, type 2 diabetes and other gastrointestinal tract diseases. The book articles compiled in this book will also provide insights on how we treat metabolic diseases, thereby focusing on good nutrition and how they may also affect genetics thus coined "nutrigenetics".

Bernadine is an independent researcher and master's degree student at the University of Philippines, Diliman. For her bachelor's degree, Bernadine went to Johnson & Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island to study Culinary Nutrition. Bernadine has worked on nutrition implications in metabolic diseases such as colorectal cancer and diabetes.
