Kapilan Ranganathan holds PhD in Plant and Molecular Biology from the University of Alberta, Canada, M.Phil in Biochemistry from the University of Jaffna and B.Sc Honours in Botany from University of Jaffna, Sri Lanka. He published 12 articles in peer reviewed journals. He is a Senior Lecturer in the Dept of Botany of University of Jaffna.
