This book is about the narratives of Sahadat Hasan Manto and Rajinder Singh Bedi that capture the genocidal violence during the partition of India in 1947. Interpreting the narratives of these writers through the perspectives of biopolitics and trauma,this book aims to bring in the most horrible picture of the partition violence, which simply brought death, destruction and devastation across the boarders of India and Pakistan.

Mr. Uttam Poudel works at Nepal Sanskrit University, Balmeeki Campus, Kathmandu, Nepal in the capacity of Assistant Professor. He also teaches Business English, Business Communication & Managerial Communication at Tribhuvan University, Nepal Commerce Campus, Kathmandu, Nepal. He also involves in human rights campaign under YHRC, Nepal.
