Any nation, organization, or the world in general, wants deploy education as an instrument for over whole development, i.e. in terms of politics, culture, economic, technology, and the like. In case of this, it is possible to define education as the central organ for any countrys progress. To realize this, curriculum is used as a vehicle for organizing and facilitating the instruction in the classroom teaching -learning process. In order to use it as an instrument, educators are expected to understand concepts of curriculum. So as to make it understood easily, the writer termed the book as curriculum studies. The writer believed that the readers can get consistent information about issues of curriculum in generalized and organized way. Further, the book is very important for university or college teachers and students, policy makers, curriculum experts, researchers, governmental and nongovernmental organizations that work towards education.

Mollaw Abraha is a lecturer in Woldia University since 2013, in the department of pedagogical science. Hw achieved his 2nd degree in 2012 from Bahir Dar University in Curriculum Studies, and by now he is PhD candidate in Curriculum Design and Instruction.
