A large part of the research for ECC (Engineered Cementitious Composites) have taken place in Developed Economies but negligible in the cases of Developing or Under-developed Economies. There lies a kind difference in the standards of material in between these type of economies. Indian Subcontinent is a good mix of Developing Economies exception to a few. These type of mixes needs to be studied in the Developing Economies as a large chunk of resources are recently been consumed by the Developing Economies. To make the resources to be available for our further generations to come we need proper planning and usage of newer and cleaner technologies initially in the Developing and then in the Undeveloped nations, to maintain a proper balance in the resources for the generations to come.
