The Knowledge of organic reactions is must for the study of fundamentals of organic chemistry. Reactions are the heart of organic chemistry. Out of about a thousand named reactions available in literature selective sixty four reactions are discussed in this book. Considering the need of a student for various competitive exams and requirement to earn basic knowledge, these reactions are selected. Each reaction is described starting from its history background, mechanism and all chemical aspects along with possible number of examples. At the end of each reaction related references are enlisted. The content of this book will be very useful to undergraduate, postgraduate and research students.
Autorenporträt
Author is M.Sc.Organic Chemistry. He has qualified National Eligibility Test and State Eligibility Test. Also he is awarded with JRF. He is working as Assistant Professor in Chemistry at Nowrosjee Wadia College since last 14 years. He has published fifteen research papers.
