This book asses the challenges and prospects for the management of water hyacinth in L.Victoria Ecosystem-Kenya.It starts by understanding the sociology-economic impacts of the weed on the community living in the lake ecosystem, evaluation of various control measures, and finally an assessment of the role of stakeholders in the management of the weed. It then outlines a proposed integrated management plan for the control of water hyacinth in the Lake Victoria ecosystem. This has been achieved by way of reviewing published literature, interview with relevant institutions and data collection among the communities living at the Homa-Bay Lake shore.

He specializes in research of the human impact on the environmental resources and sustainable Land use Panning especially in Urban Development.
