Splints are the fixed or removable appliance usually fabricated of resin and a proven modality for alleviating the pain of many temporomandibular disorders, bruxism, tension-type headaches and or migraine nowadays. Roth in orthodontics introduced use of appropriate splint therapy before starting any orthodontic treatment necessary to establish an acceptable gnathological functional occlusion. This book covers all the splints till date introduced by different authors and will serve as a guide to select appropriate splint for a particular patient in orthodontics and other related problems.
