The present book "Osteodystrophies of jaws" as the name implies are disturbances in the growth of bone. This book highlights the osteodystrophies affecting the maxillofacial region which covers a broad spectrum of diseases that may have varied etiology and disease clinical manifestations. The role of congenital, genetic, nutritional and hormonal factors in osteodystrophies is discussed in detail. A thorough clinical, radiological and histopathological knowledge about diseases of bone affecting maxillofacial region helps the clinician to narrow down the diagnosis for better patient management.
