The study of syndromes in children constitutes an important phase of dentistry because of the role which the pediatric dentist plays in the diagnosis and treatment of these conditions. Although syndromes constitute only a small number of pathological conditions seen by the dentist, they are of great significance since they have the potential ability to jeopardize the health and longevity of the patient.The aim of writing down this book is to provide complete information of commonly occurring syndromes in children which makes the diagnosis and the treatment more convenient.

Dr. Priyadarshini Bhatia is an enthusiastic clinician with insurmountable interest in differently abled and special children. She is presently pursuing her post graduation in the Department of Paedodontics and Preventive Dentistry from Subharti University Meerut. She has been awarded with best paper presentation at national conference.
