Physical pharmaceutics is one of the most imperative subject studied by B.Pharmacy students in their II year which emphasizes about the fundamental and the essential principles involved in design, development of formulation, physicochemical properties of the drug and the formulation. It covers the foremost areas of basic pharmaceutics like solubility, pH, pKa, partition coefficient, particle size, stability, evaluation of dosage forms, complexation, etc. This book had been written to focus on incorporating practical knowledge in the student. This book helps the students to carry out their laboratory experiment smoothly and effectively, thereby connect with the theoretical concepts. She had received many awards including Honorary PhD, filed 2 patents, 2 IMR projects, 46 publications, presented and guided papers in several conferences. Her areas of research interest are bioenhancers, herbal formulations and cosmetics.
