Beschreibung
Acute Kidney Injury (AKI) is a complex disorder affecting neonatal population admitted to neonatal intensive care unit. There is sparse research categorizing frequency and severity of kidney injury in neonates, where AKI accounts for a high percentage of morbidity and mortality. This research uses the pediatric RIFLE criteria to access these patients and aims to provide more grounds for better understanding for prompt and meticulous prevention and treatment of AKI in sick neonates.
