"Today`s research, Tomorrow`s treatment; help the patient" Since the darkest hour of pain in abdomen, when someone goes to doctor to seek remedy, one can have only vexation in their eyes. Sometimes an ample of medicine or a tablet may relief pain for a couple of hours but cannot allow to go home. It is Acute Pancreatitis that gives this suffering. Blood test for enzymes is useful but cannot predict the clinical outcome of patients or hospital stay. Only modified CT severity index can forecast patient`s outcome by scaling the severity into mild, moderate and severe one.
