This is a empirical study of Human rights issues in Jharkhand area specially in a Tribal population like Santal. This short approach might be a road map of future critical studies on related subject. The preliterate society and the picture of post modernism has taken into account in the present study.

Dr. Diptendu Chatterjee presently Assistant Professor in Anthropology in Calcutta university and completed his Ph.D in Anthropology from Calcutta Univeristy. Published nearly 40 research articles and participated in a number of International and National Seminar and symposiums. Strongly associated with Human Rights Course. Guiding Ph.D scholars.
