Recognition of the existence of a health hazard is an important component of risk perception. Valid perception about familiar health risks may not always exist with people. Hence, people fail to respond to health hazards that they do not perceive. This book attempts to study students' perception about health risks in North Campus, University of Delhi. It gives an insight to the perceived risks of students in the campus.

Nairwita Bandyopadhyay obtained her M. Phil and M.A degrees in Geography from Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi, where she is presently working as a Ph.D Research Scholar. In her very first book, she attempts to analyse how students perceive health risks, delving deep into the relationship between health hazard and risk perception.
