Scientific information is required to be modified. So, to update the scientific knowledge, information and skills are at priority level for researchers and scientists. It also becomes necessary for teachers and students to update themselves from these modern scientific progresses. Many universities have revised their syllabus as such. The present book is completely based on the syllabus of mycology, updated by various universities. In this book author has presented the matter in such a way that, students become able to understand it easily. In all chapters, diagrams and tables are presented along with matter. Each chapter is based on different topics relevant with fungi;contain suitable diagrams and examples, and some special points to remember. I hope that our teachers and students like this book and derive full benefit from it. I shall greatly appreciate interaction with the readers and shall welcome any suggestions from the students and teachers.

Dr. Priya Vyas has received her Ph.D degree in Biotechnology from Pacific University, Udaipur (Raj) India. She is currently working as Head of the Science Department, at Vatsalya Public School, Mandsaur (M.P.), India. She is involved in teaching since 6 years. She loves to provide free education to needy and poor students.
