Fungi are a source of extracellular enzymes existing in nature. Man has so far been involved in techniques cutting across all the fields of Science in an essence to trap this unique physiological product, ''Enzymes''. Scores of enzymes have so far been studied. Amylases are hydrolytic in nature and can be categorized as alpha, beta, glucoamylases, isoenzymes. Man exists with these enzymes and so do Fungi.

He is a member of the New York Academy of Sciences, British Mycological Society, American Society for Microbiology, American Phytopathological Society, Scandinavian Plant Physiology Society, American Chemical Society.
