The book entitled Studies on the secondary metabolites of Alcaligenes faecalis for plant nutrition and disease control focuses on three important metabolites like siderophore, EPS and PHB. Role of these metabolites in plant nutrition and disease control is discussed. The book is divided into three chapters namely I) Introduction and Review of literature II) Materials and Methods and III) Results and Discussion followed by references for the authentication of findings embodied.

Dr. Riyaz Sayyed is Head of the Department of Microbiology at PSGVP Mandal's Science College, SHAHADA, India and Vice President of Asian PGPR Society. He is recipient of Best Teachers, Green Globe, Young Scientist and Shikshan Bhushan awards,authored 78 research papers and 53 books and delivered many invited talks in Asian and European nations.
