The new extension approach proved to be potent in strengthening the extension and seed distribution systems that are often weak links in the research-to-development continuum. The policy implications of these results are that developing world agricultural extension needs to be reoriented more towards enhancing farmer-to-farmer information and seed exchange. Therefore, this book have paramount importance in the effort to out scale agricultural technologies that improve food security condition in developing countries.

I was born in 1983. I graduated with B.Sc. degree in Natural Resources Economics and Management at Mekelle University in 2006. Then I joined Sirinka Agricultural Research Center (SARC) in October 2006 and till now I have been working as agricultural economics/ socio economics researcher in the center.
