Beschreibung
Cervical cancer is one of the major non-communicable public health problems among the female population affecting not only the women but also the whole community. Annually, more than half a million new patients diagnosed and over 270,000 deaths occur worldwide. Cancer is a term used for malignant, autonomous and uncontrolled grows of cells and tissues. It is always named for the part of the body where it starts, even if it spread to other parts of the body later.

Mr. Terefu Teka received a bachelor's degree in Nursing and a master's degree in public health from Arba Minch University, Ethiopia. His current field placement is with project Assistant at Amref health Africa in Ethiopia. He had 15 years of experience working in different Humanitarian organizations.
