Various forms of NCCL'S described here are abfraction, erosion, attrition, abrasion etc. the etiology of these lesions are classified under various categories like mechanical, thermal, chemical and iatrogenic causes. various indexing systems are there to categorize these lesions, according to the extent of the lesion. the treatment modalities of these lesions include prosthetic dentistry as well as conservative dentistry.
