Beschreibung
This publication is based on an empirical research conducted in the area of professional learning, training and development practices. The publication attempted to incorporate a wider range of literature in the fields of human resource development and higher education. Furthermore, it addressed professional development from formal (Structured) and non-formal settings such as Communities of Practice (CoP) in an institutional context. Particularly, the empirical case study has critically questioned the rhetoric in 'research-intensive universities'.
Autorenporträt
Sintayehu has been working in diverse professional areas for a decade. His prior professional roles include Human Resources and Organizational Management; Talent Development; Training and Education; Research and Consultancy, among others. He has studied in prestigious universities in Ethiopia, Hong Kong, Turkey, the United Kingdom, and Europe.
