The book undertakes a critical analysis of and need for African Unity, African Renaissance and Pan-Africanism as the basis for constructing a progressive Afrocentric construct for the sustainable transformation of the continent. It is a thought-provoking overview of the continents search and efforts for unity ignited by Kwame Nkrumah at the creation of the Organisation of African Unity (OAU) in 1963. The publication echoes the voices and aspirations of the African people and calls on the citizens to rededicate themselves for the realization of an integrated, prosperous and peaceful Africa, driven by the people of the continent and as veritable player in global politics, and leaving no African behind.
