This book is beneficial for those researchers who are working on the Biometrics and Image Processing. Specially the Fingerprints which are wet or dry. While using biometrics for security purpose, user does not need to remember password. Fingerprints are commonly used for authentication as they are different for every person, even twins have diverse fingerprints. Sensors for fingerprint take less space and flexible to use. Throughout the standard data set WWF (Wet and Wrinkled Fingerprint data set) is used here. Rotational Filter comes under the Multi Resolution Enhancement category. The Fingerprint image undergone through Preprocessing, Noise Removal, Decomposition (Analysis), Reconstruction (synthesis), etc phases.
