This research book is mainly focused on giving a very critical insight towards solving the energy crisis and shortage that our world has been currently faced with and in the future as well.Finding a new source of energy is a very critical step for the replacement of fossil fuels with bio-fuels (which are renewable and pollution free). The major problems so far in this regard are a food vs fuel myth and the SCG which is investigated in this research book brings a very interesting idea of producing bio-fuel from a non edible and a potential waste from coffee brewing industries so this in turn will play a very great roles both in waste minimization and solving a food vs fuel myth as well. In closing, this research book will be a very fascinating tool for both academicians and researchers working on a bio-fuel processing stream and also it will serve as a very good information conveyor for anyone interested in science.

Muluken Eshetu Tefera has been working as a lecturer at Jimma University,Jimma Institute of Technology under the school of Chemical Engineering since Aug 2014. He has been working on giving lectures on different courses and highly participated in advising and mentoring undergraduate students in their research.
