This book is an outcome of successful research on the failure analysis of boiler tubes. A study has been carried out in order to establish that a failure analysis must have a procedure, or more precisely, a method for evaluating when a failure occurs. If a product does not live up to its life expectancy, there must be an evaluation procedure that will identify the loss. A method of evaluation that is logical, rational and well planned will enable the analyst to determine the underlying contributing factors and provide valid and vital information about the failure for future reference. Dr. Rahul Goyal completed his Ph.D. from Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. He is currently serving as Associate Professor in Manipal University Jaipur Campus. His research interest is in Thermal Engineering.
