Nowadays, Display Devices (Mobile display, TV screens, Computer screens, Plasma display panels (PDPs)) are become an essential part of our modern life-style. We should thanks to Nanotechnology and its progression due to which this dreams come true. The display devices like PDP are now established as large-scale flat-panel display system. Large scale displays are mainly used at subway stations, airports to display the arrival and departure times; running for 24/7. The 24/7 uses of the panel confine the durability, picture quality and life time of the panel. These parameters are depends on various parts of it but, protective layer plays an important role to prevent the high energetic plasma particles bombardment on the front display electrodes of PDP. Detonation in it can damage the panel a lot. Hence, durable coatings for the PDPs have become a significant topic in display technological research. In that, nanotechnology aids a lot.
