This book is designed essentially to meet the experimental requirements of a subsurface drip irrigation treatment at farm. Also, this book finds an important results related to growth dynamics and yield of subsurface drip irrigated tomatoes (Lycopersicon Esculentum) under different fertigation treatments. Various farm related findings have been put forth to the readers. Moisture probe to capture the moisture movement in soil, Leaf area index, Percentage ground cover, yield of tomatoes and quality parameters such as physical, chemical and mechanical properties at various time profile has been shown to increase the usability of this book for wide users.

Rajesh Kumar Rai is an assistant professor of civil engineering (water resources engineering) at Galgotias University, Greater Noida, India. He obtained his PhD degree from IIT Delhi, India.Prit Pal Singh Lubana is professor and dean of College of Agricultural Engineering at PAU, Ludhiana, India.
