Beschreibung
This research is aimed at critical study of John Searle's criticism of artificial intelligence and cognitive science. The main stance of Searle is defended against the counter arguments. However, at the same time few problems with Searle's position are explained as well. Finally it is shown that Searle's successful refutation of cognitive science is demanding a complete cognitive science. His idea is that a genuine science of cognition should allow more than what it promises at the moment.
