This book is an attempt to predict different phenomena concerning flow of liquid metal on the mould surface and thermal stability of cores by casting simulation. It will invariably serve the purpose of opening channel to inquisitive who yearn to investigate further in casting simulation. The author and the publisher hope that it will inspire students and casting Engineers, alike, to continue to keep them updated in casting simulation.
Autorenporträt
I was born in Lahore, Punjab-Pakistan in 1948, completed my B.Sc. in metallurgical Engineering from (West Pakistan) University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore, Pakistan in 1969 and Ph.D. (Foundry) from Polytechnic University, Bucharest, Romania, in 1985. Then, I joined Civil Aviation Authority of Pakistan as Chief Mechanical Engineer.
