I was born in Lahore, Pakistan in 1948, completed my B.Sc. in Metallurgical Engineering from (West Pakistan) University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore, Pakistan in 1969 and Ph.D. (Foundry) from Polytechnic University, Bucharest, Romania, in 1985. After doctorate, I did not rest on my laurels and my awe inspiring degrees and diplomas.
