In this book, the author has explored new frontiers; in one chapter, he has pondered on a vivid idea of incorporating carbon filament in high alumina refractory brick, in another chapter he has studied the effect of imposition of vacuum on the raw refractory brick and then compared physical, mechanical and thermal properties of final products. Dr. Parvaiz Habibullah did his Ph.D. (Foundry) from Polytechnic University, Bucharest, Romania in 1985 on the scholarship of Ministry of Education, Pakistan. He has 35 years long practical experience. He has 35 research papers and 25 books in his credit. He is candidate of 'D.Sc. Engg.' / 'Dr. Honoris Causa' from various universities.
