Environmental Engineering is the branch of civil engineering that deals with water supply engineering, sanitary engineering, environmental pollution and municipal solid waste management. Water supply engineering focuses on protected water supply, design of intake structures, design and operation of treatment plants, water treatment technologies, design of distribution systems, pipe lines along with joints and valves to promote wholesomeness of water for sustainable development.

Dr. Satish Kumar Moparthi is Professor of Civil Engineering at Kallam Haranadha Reddy Institute of Techology in Guntur, Andhrapradesh, India. He has more than 35 international journals in the field of Civil engineering, he is the editorial board member for two international journals and he got sanctioned grant from SERB, DST, Government of India.
