The climate change is one of the most important factors affecting the quality of life and the activity of the increasingly population. The current means of meteorological parameters data collection are indeed rather limited and make use of some very expensive weather stations, leading to a lack of comprehensively monitoring due to cost constraints and inconveniences. In this paper we have proposed and developed a low cost hardware module based on micro-controller, which measures the meteorological data, including air temperature, atmospheric pressure, relative humidity, dew point temperature, wind speed and wind direction.

Kiran Sonawane received Bachelor of Engineering from North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon and Master of Engineering from Dr.Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathawada University,Aurangabad 2003 and 2011. Presently he is working as a Assistant Professor in R.C.Patel Institute of Technology, Shirpur. His field of interest are FOC & CN.
