With an increase in waste created, recovery and recycling of food waste is growing in importance. This book gives an excellent overview of the processing of waste from the food industry. It covers analytical methods for waste analysis, aerobic and anaerobic treatments, wastewater technologies and valorization of food processing waste. Additionally, the current legislation for waste management in the food industry is described.
