In a new book Quantum Vacuum is said that fundamental physics is on the verge of a new round of development. The recognition of the existence quantum vacuum with positive density, opens to mankind an inexhaustible source of conceptual innovation in all areas of activity. Einstein's relativistic theory has exhausted itself and the creation on its basis of high-tech, very powerful and terribly expensive accelerators, colliders and tokamaks at best will be a waste of time and money, and in the worst case can lead to an ecological catastrophe of a global scale. These risks are caused by the lack of a full theory of electrodynamics, which could adequately describe the actual behavior of electric and magnetic fields and relativistic charged particles in vacuum (dark matter). These and other of actual problems associated with quantum vacuum are presented in a new book.

Stanislav Ivanovich Konstantinov is a professional physicst and engineer with twenty-five years of service to RSC"Energy" Russia. He is a graduate of St.Petersburg State Pedagogical University, Department of Physical Electronics. He is a member of a group of scientists and engineers who participated in the project of the space shuttle "BURAN".
