About book In recent time, the importance and use of fly ash in concrete has grown so much that it has almost become a common ingredient in concrete, particularly for making high strength and high-performance concrete. Extensive research has been done all over the world on the benefits that could be accrued in the utilization of fly ash as a supplementary cementitious material. High volume fly ash concrete as a subject of current interest all over the world. This book comprises study of structural behaviour of fly ash based geopolymer concrete for compressive strength and tensile strength. It studies physical, chemical & mechanical properties of ingredients of fly ash based geopolymer concrete.

Dr. M.B. Chougule received the B.E. and M.E. degrees in Civil Engineering from Shivaji University, Kolhapur. He is recipient of Gold medal in Civil Engineering. Completed his Ph.D. from Solapur University (M.S.). He is working as H.O.D. in Civil Engineering at Textile and Engineering Institute, Ichalkaranji.
