This book focuses on increasing water demand of textile processing units and use treated municipal wastewater in textile processing units. At present this thousands of litres of treated municipal wastewater is disposed on land and river, which can be reutilised with techno-economical treatment. In addition, textile effluent of various units in the industry can be reused in the textile processes using inhouse treatments and modifications. Conservation techniques can be implemented to save the water in the textile wet processing.

Dr. Mahesh Chougule has a distinguished teaching career of 22 years at D.K.T.E. society's Textile and Engineering Institute, Ichalkaranji. Presently he is working as an Associate Professor in Civil Engineering. He is member of many technical bodies and is recipient of many awards. He is also working as consultant and chartered Engineer.
