In recent years there is a huge motivation to replace lead based piezoelectric ceramics as they are environmentally hazardous. One of the different lead free based piezoelectric ceramics, bismuth potassium titanat (BKT) is a promising one. In this book,the dielectric, ferroelectric and piezoelectric properties of BKT are treated in depth using theoretical models and mathematical formulation.
