With the increasing awareness in perioesthetics and demand from patients, newer and newer techniques are being evolved in day to day practice. The Perioplastic surgeries are the new innovations in this aspect, procurement of connective tissues graft is a challenge and requires a good anatomic knowledge of the gingival thickness. Diversifying the graft harvesting area and finding its clinical implications has always been a challenge. So this piece of work focuses on identifying the rugae patterns and equating it with the thickness of healthy palatal mucosa.
