Science and technology have tremendously influenced our society, individuals way of thinking, his personal security and standards of living and are now changing his entire existence. There is a single light of science, and to brighten it anywhere is to, brighten it everywhere. The present day world is science based as science has become integral part of our life. Science is not only a body of knowledge but also a way of thinking. Science helps in liberating and enriching the mind and enlarging the human spirit. A citizen of modern world sees countless manifestations of science all around him. In recent times, there have been rapid additions of knowledge to the world of science. There is no aspect of human life today which has not been influenced by science in one way or the other. This is because we live in the age of scientific culture. Science has shrunk the world and totally changed the human outlook. In fact, science now has all pervading influence on every sphere of human activity. Further, modern science is no longer confined to the surfaces of this globe, its sphere of achievements reached beyond the earth.

Smiksha holds a Master in Physics from Punjabi University Patiala and Masters in Education from Khalsa College of Education, Amritsar. Presently, she is working as an Assistant Professor in the department of Education at Sant Baba Hazara Singh College of Education, china (Gurdaspur). She has number of publications in Journals and Conferences.
