In rhinoplasty, the difference between good and bad results can be measured in millimeters. Surgical excellence in rhinoplasty must begin with a comprehensive nasal history and anatomic examination to identify patient's problem and goals from which an individualized pre - operative plan is formulated. The first procedure provides the best opportunity for success in rhinoplasty and this requires precise nasal analysis, meticulous planning and operative execution and painstakingly postoperative care. This compilation here presents the rationale for use of the techniques in rhinoplasty to obtain consistent functional and aesthetic results. The techniques are supported by an overview of the anatomy of the nose with texts and necessary illustrations.
