Beschreibung
From a strictly mechanical perspective, dentistry has gradually reformed the methods used to deal with patients with temporomandibular disorders, particularly in terms of the role that occlusion plays in this field and in the wider field of orofacial pain. Despite the reasonable number of studies available on such conditions reported over the past decades, professionals still struggle to find sensate and reliable sources of information for application in routine clinical settings. This turning of scientific ground has challenged the old practices engraved in peoples mind and carved by the traditional disciplines of dental schools. This book aims to clear this foggy and tempestuous path in a novel, straightforward, and practical manner. In addition, it presents and discusses useful and easy handling tools for practitioners, emblematic clinical cases, and the foremost principles of Health Sciences.
